The Lost Food Project is a non-profit organisation in Malaysia that rescues quality, nutritious food that would otherwise end up in landfill, and redistributes this food to those who need it most – regardless of religion, gender, age, disability or ethnic group.
Since our launch in April 2016, The Lost Food Project has been able to rescue enough surplus food to provide over 3 million meals to people in need and prevent almost 2 million kilograms of carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere. But in order to keep our trucks on the road and our operations going, we need ongoing funds.
During MYGiving Week, we’re asking you to donate and fundraise for The Lost Food Project and help us continue to ‘feed the hungry not the landfill’.
Why not donate your lunch money – with just 20RM we can provide 100 nutritious meals to those in need. Or how about getting friends or colleagues to sponsor you to walk 10,000 steps every day for a week!
However you do it and however great or small your donation, you’re making a huge impact to the lives of so many in Malaysia.
